Eductor
The basic requirement for Eductors is to perform according to a given parameter with trouble-free operations. These are used mainly at remote locations or very challenging locations or experiencing extreme weather conditions. Eductor work on the basic flow dynamics principles. The principle of venturi nozzle applies here. This involves taking the power of one stream and accelerating through the tapered nozzle by increasing the velocity of the stream and creating a vacuum due to increased flow & decreased pressure. This will move the power of one stream to create a vacuum for the other. In turn, both are mixed & discharge from the exhaust port. Eductors are also known as Mechanical Vacuum Pump or Venturi Pump. Applications like hazardous areas where electrical apparatus are a challenge to use can have Eductor as the best alternative.
